Keeping the Children Happy
This must rate as the hardest job of any holiday. Well staying in the Condado de Alhama has some major advantages. There are a lot of activities and facilities on site so you know they are safe: such as swimming pools, tennis courts, football areas (read more about onsite facilities.)
Should they get bored of everything available on site then it is not far to the nearest Park. Park in the Spainsh sense is not a bit of grass with a few swings but full blown family adventure.
Try these out for a fair few hours of fun.
Aqua Natura and Terra Natura
Aqua Natura is a Water Park with some big pools:
PRISON ISLAND
A pool for adults and children – so long as they are accompanied – with a water tower of 4 modules, an oscillating water drum and several relaxing water jets that the whole family will enjoy.
GRAVE ISLAND
the splash pool – the children’s zone features water games and smaller chutes for them to enjoy the same attractions as the adults but on a smaller scale. None of the children’s chutes starts off from any higher than two metres.
Terra Natura is a new-generation wildlife park where you can discover the "Zooinmersion" experience -a new concept in habitat design which will enable you to come into contact with the animals as if there wre no barriers between you- at least, no visible ones! The 320,000 square metres of the Benidorm park are divided into four themed areas: Pangea, the entrace to the park, America, Asia and Europe.
Aquopolis
Another water park set slightly further away in Torrevieja near Alicante. www.aquopolis.com.
Sierra Espuna
Should you and the Children be feeling more active then try at the Sierra Espuna which is a stunning national park with a wealth of activities available from quad biking, walks and cycling.
