Shopping
There are excellent shopping areas in Murcia - Thader and Nueva Condomina which are large shopping malls with other attractions such as a cinema and ten-pin bowling. This beautiful city is a 30 minute drive to the north. It boasts a fantastic cathedral and lots of bars and cafes. An ideal place to wander and soak up the atmosphere of a Spanish city.
In Cartagena to the south, there are designer shops in the middle of the town and a large retail park with a shopping mall and cinema. This ancient city is a 45 minutes drive to the south. There are many Roman remains to see and museums to visit. it is situated alongside a harbour which is a great place for a long, leisurely lunch.
There is also a small development - Camposol -just a few minutes drive away with banks, a large supermarket and several English bars and restaurants. Opening hours for the supermarket are Mon- Sat 9.15am - 8pm Sunday closed. there is another small supermarket - Quicksave which is open all week and on Sundays until 4pm.
